What You'll Do Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during and after procedures Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORN standards Properly handle and label surgical specimens Maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness Mentor and support new staff and nursing students Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards

What We're Looking For Current Alabama RN license (or compact equivalent) BLS required Hospital-based ACLS and PALS required 3+ months of nursing experience preferred OR experience strongly preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
