Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, primarily days or nights, with specific start times at 3 AM, 3 PM, 11 AM, or 11 PM. Weekends required every other week. On-call required if days scheduled are canceled.

Assignment Details: Floating between units as needed. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Floating to other units based on skill set may be required.

Requirements:

• Specialization in High Risk OB
• Experience floating to Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) and Post-Surgical Care Unit (PSCU)
• Active RN license
• Experience with Epic EMR system preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery
• Monitor and assess patient health status and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Compliance / Notes: Parking is free. Details regarding floating and accommodations for consecutive shifts will be provided. Employees will receive advance notice for any floating to other units or facilities.
