Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (Rn)
We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) who will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position is critical for supporting the needs of patients during labor and delivery and may require flexibility to float between multiple units as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, utilizing appropriate medical techniques.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in high-risk obstetric care and float to postpartum and high-risk antepartum units as needed.
- Maintain awareness of patient care needs and adjust assignments accordingly.
Work Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts with start times of either 3 AM or 3 PM, and 11 AM or 11 PM options available.
- Work every other weekend.
- Must be willing to float to other units based on patient care needs and skills.
- A week or more will be provided to prepare for changes in schedule.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery, including high-risk obstetrics.
- Ability to float between various units as necessary.
- Must have reliable personal transportation for potential travel between locations.
