About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership, serving as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor. This role is pivotal in leading all aspects of the company's finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a background in distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive businesses, and will be responsible for overseeing financial operations across multiple entities. Key responsibilities for the CFO include providing financial insight for strategic planning, preparing financial presentations for the Board of Directors, and leading the annual budgeting process. The CFO will also be involved in financial modeling for acquisitions and other strategic initiatives, and will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with an MBA and/or CPA preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience. The role requires a professional who is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury and banking relationships. The CFO will be expected to be a champion of process improvements, with a continuous improvement mindset, and to have the ability to influence executive decision-making. The company values collaboration, initiative, and sound business judgment, and the successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with exceptional integrity, and able to remain calm and confident under pressure.
