Director, Global Transport and Sustainability, Infrastructure and Data Centers

Lead a high-velocity global transportation network, governing a $2.0B+ freight spend, and maintaining high on-time performance for ~2,000 daily shipments.Advocate for emission reductions by shifting high-volume logistics corridors to lower-emission modes without sacrificing delivery speed.Transition procurement to dynamic indexing models and oversee zero-disruption enterprise software migrations.Resolve cross-functional goal conflicts through governance frameworks, and implement automated data reliability and predictive risk tools.Formalize "ready-now" succession plans and foster an environment of psychological safety and equitable growth.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.15 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation management.10 years of experience managing global transportation networks, freight budgets ($1B), and carrier/3PL relationships.Preferred qualifications:Experience resolving cross-functional friction and building strategic governance frameworks in matrixed organizations.Experience leading massive enterprise software transformations (e.g., SAP TMS migrations) and deploying yard management systems.Metrics-driven problem solver with experience using dashboard tools and automated data triggers.Demonstrated success executing environmental initiatives, including Scope 3 emissions reduction and zero-waste programs.Proficiency leveraging AI and predictive analytics for route optimization and risk management.Google Cloud accelerates organizations’ ability to digitally transform their business with the best infrastructure, platform, industry solutions and expertise. You will manage a high-velocity transportation network of over 4,000 shipment lanes across three major transportation modes and will be responsible for overseeing a global freight spend of more than $4.0B while advancing the organization's sustainability initiatives and managing a team of 7 direct reports.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible.
