Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the migration of a legacy sales and distribution data platform to Broadridge SalesVision within a global asset management environment. This role will focus on data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and gap analysis between the legacy platform and Broadridge SalesVision. The Business Analyst will partner with business stakeholders, data teams, technology teams, and Broadridge representatives to ensure that data is accurately mapped, validated, and transitioned to the target platform. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and data analysis capabilities with experience supporting complex platform migrations. The individual should be comfortable analyzing database tables, documenting source-to-target mappings, defining validation rules, and identifying functional or data-related gaps between systems. This role will play an important part in improving the quality, completeness, and usability of sales and distribution data while supporting a successful transition to Broadridge SalesVision. Key Responsibilities Support the migration of sales and distribution data from a legacy platform to Broadridge SalesVision. Develop a detailed understanding of the data structures, business processes, and reporting requirements supported by both platforms. Identify differences in data models, functionality, and business rules between the legacy and target systems. Partner with Broadridge and internal stakeholders to document and resolve identified migration gaps. Support migration planning, execution, testing, and post-implementation validation. Data Mapping & Requirements Analysis Gather and document business, functional, and data requirements from sales, distribution, operations, data governance, and technology stakeholders. Produce detailed source-to-target data mappings between legacy data structures and Broadridge SalesVision. Analyze database tables, fields, relationships, reference data, and business rules. Define transformation logic required to align legacy data with the SalesVision target model. Document data definitions, ownership, lineage, and authoritative sources. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Data Analysis & Data Quality Perform data profiling to identify missing values, duplicates, inconsistencies, and formatting issues. Define data-quality rules and validation controls for migrated data. Validate newly created tables, fields, and data structures against agreed business requirements. Analyze data populations before and after migration to confirm completeness and accuracy. Support root-cause analysis and remediation of data-quality issues. Work with data owners to establish processes for resolving data exceptions. Perform reconciliation between the legacy platform and Broadridge SalesVision. Identify data, process, reporting, and functionality gaps between the two platforms. Assess the business impact and priority of identified gaps. Maintain gap-analysis logs, data-issue trackers, and remediation plans. Partner with internal technology teams and Broadridge to define appropriate solutions. Confirm that gaps have been addressed through testing and validation. Testing & Implementation Support Develop test scenarios, test cases, and expected results for data migration and platform integration activities. Support system integration testing, data validation testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing. Coordinate defect investigation and resolution across business, technology, and vendor teams. Validate reports, dashboards, calculations, and downstream data feeds. Support migration rehearsals, production cutover activities, and post-implementation reviews. Confirm that delivered solutions meet documented business and data requirements. System Integration & Data Flows Document upstream and downstream systems connected to the legacy platform and Broadridge SalesVision. Analyze data flows across sales, distribution, client, product, intermediary, and reporting systems. Document system dependencies, interfaces, transformations, and downstream consumers. Support integration between SalesVision, enterprise data platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools, and operational applications. Assist technology teams with defining interface and file requirements. Agile Delivery & Project Coordination Translate requirements into JIRA epics, features, user stories, and tasks. Partner with engineering and data teams in Agile or hybrid delivery environments. Support backlog prioritization, sprint planning, testing coordination, and delivery tracking. Maintain project documentation, action logs, issue logs, and decision records. Escalate delivery risks, data issues, and unresolved dependencies. Coordinate across business, data, technology, governance, and external vendor stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate workshops to gather business, data, reporting, and system requirements. Build strong working relationships with sales, distribution, operations, data governance, technology, and vendor teams. Present data-quality findings, migration risks, and gap-analysis results to stakeholders. Communicate project progress, decisions, dependencies, and risks clearly. Experience supporting data migrations, system implementations, or legacy platform transformations. Strong experience with data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and gap analysis. Ability to analyze relational database tables, data structures, and system interfaces. Experience creating source-to-target mappings and documenting transformation rules. Strong understanding of data-quality concepts, controls, and remediation processes. Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and data requirements. Experience supporting system integration testing and user acceptance testing. Strong documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to coordinate effectively between business users, technology teams, data teams, and third-party vendors. Experience working within financial services, asset management, investment management, or a related industry. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with Broadridge SalesVision. Experience with Broadridge distribution intelligence, sales analytics, or asset management technology platforms. Understanding of asset management sales and distribution data, including: Financial products and funds Intermediaries and broker-dealers Client and account hierarchies Assets under management Gross and net sales Redemptions and flows Experience migrating from a legacy sales, distribution, CRM, or reporting platform. Working knowledge of SQL and data-querying tools. Experience with data warehouses, analytics platforms, and reporting environments. Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage. Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, or similar tools. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
