Part‑Time (Contractor) Community Success Manager (Mesa, AZ) As a Community Success Manager (CSM), you will serve as a personal, in‑person point of contact for 200+ families across a manufactured home community in Mesa, Arizona. Your mission is to knock on doors, engage residents face‑to‑face, and help connect them to free benefits like tutoring, financial tools, and Viva’s mobile app—offered through a partnership between Viva and their property owner. Responsibilities Job Details Part‑time contractor role available; 10–20 hours per week. Can start immediately; start date negotiable. Travel to the manufactured home community in Mesa, AZ required; mileage reimbursed. Flexible schedule with focus on resident availability, including evenings and weekends. Become familiar with the Viva team Meet the Director of Community Success, your manager. Meet a Product Manager or Director for feedback from families. Meet the leadership team. Participate in weekly virtual all‑hands meetings. Learn and share the Viva story. Become familiar with the Viva Benefits product Download and onboard with the app at vivabenefits.com. Ask questions and delve into features. Conduct 1:1 user interview sessions with Product Managers or Directors. Motivate and coach families to access the app. Become familiar with benefits available to resident families Healthcare via telehealth. Financial wellness tools, including a High‑Yield Savings Account (HYSA). Tutoring via Learn To Be. Credit building resources. Become familiar with on‑ground partners Build warm, first‑name relationships with property management and maintenance staff at each property. Act as an extension of the Viva team. Help partners achieve their goals to support teamwork. Engage residents in person Primary engagement strategy: knock on doors and talk to residents. Engage residents face‑to‑face, present free and discounted resources, and educate families on benefits. Co‑create and role‑play scripts that avoid hard sales and focus on education. Follow up with residents remotely Use a Google Voice number to text and connect with residents who have been engaged. Coordinate in‑person follow‑ups or help them access benefits. Track resident engagement Use a shared team tracker to monitor residents’ expressed interest and benefit usage. Goal: move all residents from expressed interest to actual benefit usage. Compensation Pay range commensurate with experience: $20–$35 per hour. Salary review and renegotiation within 180 days of start. Qualifications Intellectually curious generalist or “T‑shaped” professional. Aspiration to learn about early‑stage startups. Motivated to help people; Viva focuses on creating equity for all through housing. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, but not required. Social Workers and Public Health professionals encouraged.
