Housekeeper

We are seeking a Housekeeper to add to our dynamic team! Responsibilities * Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, tubs and showers, day rooms * Clean offices, classrooms, public areas, laundry rooms, and nurses' stations * Clean all fixtures and accessories in all areas * Vacuum and spot clean all carpeted areas * Sweep and mop all tile and concrete areas * Pull and empty trash * Replenish paper towels, soap, toilet paper and liquid soap, as needed * Water shrubs and plants inside the facility * Issue linens and ensure adequate linen supply by taking regular inventories * Monitor inventory of housekeeping chemicals and supplies and report to Supervisor * Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-worker, managers, clients and prospective clients * Must be able to work in constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner * Regular attendance * Perform other duties as requested by supervisor Qualifications * Must be able to push carts, equipment, and supplies to all areas of facility * Must be able to lift trash and linen weighing from 25 to 35 pounds * Must be able to bend, stoop and climb * Must be able to use mops, brooms, vacuums, wall washing equipment and high dusting equipment, which would require working below waist level up to overhead level * Must be able to see at 20/40 corrected in each eye * Walk within the facility approximately three (3) miles per 8 hr. shift We're officially a Great Place to Work!
