Oakmonte Village of Davie, Florida is hiring a Server to provide friendly, timely and attentive meal service within our dining room. The Server maintains a clean, organized dining area and supports daily dining operations. Position Highlights Status: Full Time/Part Time/PRN Schedule: 7 am‑3 pm or 3:30 pm‑7:30 pm with weekends & holidays mandatory Location: 8201 Stirling Rd, Davie, FL 33328 Pay: $15‑$16 per hour Responsibilities Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional manner. Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience. Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus and food items. Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Practice proper food handling, safety and sanitation procedures. Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists. Support orientation and training of new servers. Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness and hospitality. Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred. Enjoy working with seniors and providing excellent customer service. Professional & courteous interaction with residents, guests and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Good judgment, time management and communication skills. Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift trays, dishes and supplies (up to 25–50 lbs). Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and food service equipment. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays. Comfort interacting closely with residents during meals.
