Business Intelligence Architect | BI Architect (W2 Only)

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Business Intelligence Architect to design, develop, and lead the implementation of reporting and dashboard solutions tailored to client requirements. This role will play a key part in architecting advanced BI solutions using ThoughtSpot, IBM Cognos, and modern data platforms. Key Responsibilities Architecting complex BI solutions based on custom client requirements. Demonstrate deep expertise in ThoughtSpot Embed , utilizing its REST APIs and Visual Embed SDK for integration with custom applications. Administer the ThoughtSpot cluster, managing users, groups, and data access from a Data Admin perspective. Guide developers in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics . Build business intelligence solutions leveraging cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake . Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract data from relational databases. Translate business requirements into scalable and effective reports, dashboards, and analytics. Maintain architectural documentation including blueprints, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications. Define and enforce best practices in reporting, data visualization, and analytics implementations. Implement data security measures, including role-based access control and compliance protocols. Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for ThoughtSpot and Cognos environments. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their information needs and provide strategic insights. Provide end-user technical support for reports and dashboard-related issues. Participate in project planning, offering input on design and development processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Cognos-related issues, providing expert-level support. Oversee upgrades and migrations of Cognos environments. Ensure deliverables are aligned with defined timelines and budgets . Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and analytics tools. 7+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics as a BI Developer or Architect. Expert-level proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x or later) . Strong experience with Cognos Framework Manager , Report Studio, Dashboarding, and Analysis Studio. Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts , including dimensional modeling. Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake, Oracle , or similar databases. Proficient in ThoughtSpot SaaS and ThoughtSpot Embed (Visual SDK expertise required). Experience with Power BI is a plus. Working knowledge of REACT is a plus. Strong front-end development skills in JavaScript and CSS . Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Certifications in ThoughtSpot and IBM Cognos are strongly preferred. Must-Have Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
