Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or databases.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners and shipping software such as UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to shipping and receiving operations.
• Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and shipment documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and documentation is complete.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions using inventory management systems and manual logs.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to organize storage and timely movement of goods within the facility.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies, schedule deliveries, and track shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all shipping and receiving activities.
• Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies or damages to management promptly.
