Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Start Date: December 1, 2026 Ongoing Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm 7-10 days/month Primary call coverage during evenings and weekends Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Job Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient EMR: Athena Trauma Level 4 Stroke Certified Approximately 720 deliveries per year 20-25 patients per shift in clinic Types of Cases: Low and high risk pregnancy FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening Routine deliveries: vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic (diagnostic/minor and operative/major including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs) Call coverage: Beeper call, 20-minute response time required Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers and FM residency required 3 APPs in clinic; CNM support throughout the week Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days Temporary privileges not available Malpractice insurance provided by vendor Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required Certifications: ACLS required BLS required Laser certification preferred Licensure: NM license preferred IMLC not accepted About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
