In this role, you will work closely with the management team to support a positive and effective workplace. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, employee relations, leave management, conflict resolution, recruitment, training and development and all aspects of compliance with the end goal of serving as a trusted advisor to employees at all levels. This position supports corporate employees and the management team, as directed by the Director of Property Management, works onsite daily in our Corporate HQ. The range for this role is $75,150 - $91,850* per year. Core Job Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a partner in recruiting by sourcing and screening for all open positions. Run postings for position openings Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions, as needed Process all new background requirements in accordance with applicable employment laws Compliance, Employee Relations and Benefits and Leave Management Employee relations to include managing the company’s relationship with its employees from hiring process to current employees to the exit process Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements Maintain management guidelines by updating and recommending HR policies and procedures Advise, recommend and revise employee handbook/accounting procedures, when requested Maintain historical human resource records; keeping past and current records Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations Prepares, monitors and supports property supervisors with performance evaluations, including annual reviews and bonus evaluations Serves as the point of contact for workers' compensation, managing open claims, ensuring employees receive appropriate medical care, coordinating with the insurance broker, and following up with training to prevent repeat accidents Assist with benefits administration. Complete and manage annual OSHA compliance reporting. Training and Development Prepares employees for assignments by conducting new hire orientation Assists prepare all end of employment documents for exiting employees and reviews documents/procedures with departing staff (letter, contract release, benefit conversion documents). Use Grace Hill (Property Management LMS) for all Employees Maintain yearly and monthly online training platform Setting up all new employees, removing terminated employees Scheduling employee educational courses Monitoring/updating management on completion of courses General Handle highly confidential information Organization within the company including files, property lists and other organizational needs as assigned Compiling and generating reports. Ability to not only create reports but use the data to present trends and opportunities. Serves as the point of contact for our outsourced Paylocity payroll provider, including submitting monthly bonus sheets and participating in the payroll approval process twice per month Submit all weekly, monthly, and annual reports requested timely and accurately to the Director of Property Management. Acts as a team member with all associates of WEI Role models the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications This role requires onsite work daily during the hours of 8am-5pm.
