As a Senior HR Consultant, you will serve customers directly to meet their HR goals and support our HR Consulting strategy. You will develop proactive, educational initiatives and improve Justworks’ HR tools, content, and experiences, in concert with stakeholders across the Customer Success Organization, Revenue Operations, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You will serve as a team leader, lending your expertise and mentorship to new hires and less senior team members. Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work OnProvide strategic HR guidance for assigned customers – including strategic assessments + action plans, handbook review, proactive HR compliance guidance, and program development – to help them achieve their HR and business goalsServe as primary point of contact for assigned customers, educating them on HR best practices and working through creative solutions to effectively answer their complex HR questionsCoach and mentor fellow HR Consultants, supporting them in their day-to-day work, and providing quality assurance feedbackBalance time spent on customer-facing interactions and on deliverables for customersCreate HR-related content, tools, and experiences, for external and internal usesWork with other Consultants on optimizing efficiencies across the entire team, including the integration of AI toolsManage longer-term projects – such as our customer compliance newsletter and customer learning opportunities (such as webinars) – inclusive of scoping, providing feedback and inputs, and setting and meeting deadlines Partner with Legal, Product, and Revenue teams on upcoming employment legislation – how it impacts Justworks customers and how we will best support them through changeExplain complicated compliance and HR concepts in simple, user-friendly termsDisplay a high level of professionalism and compassion when working with each account on sensitive mattersPerform other related duties as assignedHow You Will Do Your WorkAs a Senior HR Consultant, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization. Simplicity - Be like Einstein: “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.”QualificationsMinimum of 7 years experience at the HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or Employee Relations Manager levelExperience handing compliance across multiple US statesAt least 1 of the following HR certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCPIf not certified, certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment - Justworks will provide financial supportNice to have:Experience in tech, consulting, SaaS, and/or PEO environmentsGlobal HR experienceFluency in additional languages (especially Spanish)The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $121,000.00 to $151,000.00 per year.#LI-Hybrid #LI-KC2Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
