Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to join our growing engineering team in Allentown, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has already gained early career experience and is looking to further develop their skills in new product development within a collaborative, hands-on environment.

You will play a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative electrical products, particularly within power systems and lighting-related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of new products, with a strong focus on electrical systems and power electronics
• Support sustaining engineering efforts by improving and enhancing existing product lines
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineering, as well as lab technicians
• Participate in hands-on engineering activities including prototyping, testing, and validation
• Work on products such as lighting inverters and lighting control systems
• Provide technical input throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through production

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3–6 years of relevant industry experience (not an entry-level role)
• Proven experience in new product development (not limited to compliance or operations roles)
• Strong background in one or more of the following:
• Power systems
• Power electronics
• Power conversion

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to designing power supplies, battery systems, inverters, or motor controls
• Familiarity with a variety of engineering software tools (flexible based on experience)
• Hands-on experience with product design and testing

You'll be joining 2 Electrical Engineers, 2 Software engineers and 2 Mechanical Engineers while reporting to the Director of Engineering.
