CNC Machinist

Job Title CNC Machinist (Mill & Lathe) Location Pensacola, FL Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Pay $20 – $26 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our machine shop team. This role requires experience operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will be able to set up, run, and make adjustments to their own machines while maintaining quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mill and CNC lathe machines Read and understand blueprints and part drawings Edit and adjust G-code and M-code as needed Load materials and ensure parts are machined to specifications Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy Maintain machines and keep work area clean and organized Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines Requirements Experience operating CNC mills and lathes Ability to set up machines independently Knowledge of G-code and M-code editing Strong blueprint reading skills Basic measuring skills (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Reliable and able to work a consistent schedule Team player with good attention to detail Benefits Competitive hourly pay Steady daytime schedule Opportunity to grow within the company Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
