CNC Operator Summary:
In this role, the CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. The CNC Operator ensures production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. One Mill Operator and one Lathe operator.
CNC Operator Pay Rate: $30 - $40/hr.
CNC Operator Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
CNC Operator Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to work orders and specifications.
- Load raw materials and tooling into CNC equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools and gauges.
- Maintain production records and documentation.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Troubleshoot machining problems and identify solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
- Follow all company quality control procedures.
CNC Operator Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous CNC machining or CNC operator experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
