Technical Product Manager III
Freenome
Freenome seeks a Technical Product Manager III to oversee engineering initiatives for the Commercial Data Platform and related products. The role involves defining requirements, managing development processes, creating technical roadmaps, and coordinating across cross-functional teams to support commercialization and product development.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and manage development processes, systems, and software infrastructure for data platform and tools
- Partner with laboratory and business stakeholders to elicit requirements and optimize workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Translate product requirements into Epics and Stories with clear user acceptance criteria working with engineers
- Create and operationalize comprehensive technical strategy and integrated roadmap for data products, pipelines, and tooling
- Track development progress, ensure requirement fulfillment, and facilitate productive interactions between users and engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in analytical, technical, or scientific field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in software development environments, ideally biotechnology and NGS
- Deep expertise in software feature identification and prioritization
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex trade-off decisions and improve organizational processes
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and sprint planning
- Experience with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and HITECH
- Proficiency with issue tracking systems like Jira
