Traveling Superintendent - Big Box

- Build major groundup bigbox projects in Florida..
- Strong stability, steady travel pipeline, and toptier experience.
- Manage daytoday onsite operations for groundup bigbox retail builds.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, and project sequencing.
- Enforce safety standards, quality expectations, and compliance requirements.
- Review and interpret drawings, site plans, and construction documents.
- Track project progress, maintain daily reporting, and support schedule adherence.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, and inspectors.
- Lead site meetings and ensure all trades meet project milestones.
- Oversee inspections, punch lists, and overall site closeout.
- Travel fulltime to active project sites.
The Successful Applicant
- 5-10+ years as a Superintendent in groundup bigbox retail.
- Strong ability to manage highspeed, highvolume retail construction schedules.
- Skilled in coordinating multiple trades in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication, problemsolving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings.
- Strong safety mindset and experience enforcing jobsite compliance.
- Willingness to travel fulltime (longterm assignments).
- Stable job history and proven success closing out bigbox projects.
- Competitive traveling superintendent compensation (marketcenter).
