Responsibilities

• Support both front and back office operations, including greeting and rooming patients
• Assist with scheduling, answer phones, and manage patient communication
• Take vital signs and record patient information accurately
• Draw blood and perform venipuncture procedures
• Administer vaccines and provide clinical support as needed
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with the clinical team
• Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and documentation standards in electronic medical records

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (including externship)
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Computer literacy and ability to operate clinical equipment

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience is highly valued
• Experience working with patients aged 6 and above
• Availability to work various shifts, including daytime hours in July, August, and September 2026
• Ability to thrive in a community-focused environment emphasizing health education and outreach
