Make a meaningful impact by supporting students across pre-K through 8th grade as a School Psychologist in a dynamic district setting. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of district-based evaluations, working closely with diverse teams to drive student success. Housed at the district office, your focus will remain on programmatic initiatives rather than day-to-day crisis intervention, providing a unique environment to use your expertise in assessment, collaboration, and student support.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required (pending licensure accepted for travel professionals)
• Experience or familiarity with evaluations in school settings
• Strong understanding of the evaluation process, including Early Intervention (EI) transitions and Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessments (TPBA)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team-based meetings
• Comfort with caseloads comprised exclusively of evaluations (approximately 63 completed last year; EI transitions around 17 annually)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students from pre-K through 8th grade
• Lead and participate in domain meetings, contributing insights to guide evaluation planning
• Oversee the Early Intervention transition process, including TPBA assessments
• Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students as needed
• Maintain professional documentation and work collaboratively from the district office

Schedule Details:

• Full-time, contract position with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Immediate start through June 19, 2027
