Take on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade as a school psychologist in a dynamic district office environment near Cicero, IL. This position is focused on conducting evaluations with an average caseload of assessments only (63 completed last year), allowing you to leverage your expertise without the demands of day-to-day student or staff intervention common to building-based roles. You’ll be housed at the district office, collaborating closely with district teams to ensure every student receives the support they need during critical evaluation and transition periods.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Illinois PEL and School Psychologist license (pending licensure considered for travel professionals)
• Experience or familiarity with school-based psychological evaluations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to facilitate and participate in collaborative meetings
• A solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead domain meetings and manage evaluation processes for students across all grade levels, Pre-K to 8th
• Oversee the Early Intervention (EI) transition process, including conducting TPBA as needed (17 transitions last year)
• Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all evaluations and meetings
• Work independently from the district office, focusing exclusively on evaluations rather than daily student or staff needs

Hours for this role are 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, with the contract extending through June 19th, 2027. CPI training is not required, as you will not be housed in a school building or involved in crisis intervention.
