Warehouse Manager

What is my day-to-day like? In this role, you will lead all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your day will focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control. Responsibilities Typical day‑to‑day activities include, but are not limited to: Oversee daily warehouse operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance Monitor KPIs such as productivity, on-time shipments, and inventory accuracy Ensure all shipments are picked, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time Manage inventory through ERP/WMS systems, maintaining accuracy above 99.9% Partner cross‑functionally with transportation, production, and corporate logistics teams Lead safety efforts—conduct training, enforce compliance, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse Oversee dock activity, trailer scheduling, and intercompany shuttle operations Manage material handling equipment, including maintenance and cost control Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Support audits (BRC, quality, sanitation) and ensure audit readiness at all times What makes a person successful in this position? Lead with safety first and actively build a strong safety culture Are highly accountable and comfortable owning both operational performance and financial results (P&L) Have a strong sense of urgency and thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities Are data-driven, using metrics to manage productivity, inventory, and service levels Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and continuously look for process improvements Are hands‑on leaders who engage directly with their teams on the warehouse floor Communicate effectively across all levels—from frontline employees to corporate leadership Build strong cross-functional relationships, especially with transportation and production Maintain a high attention to detail, especially related to inventory accuracy and shipment quality Bring integrity, consistency, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset What will my schedule be like?
