Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a construction-related location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and construction work zones, while observing for unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
