Loading Dock Security

Position: Loading Dock Security Responsible for securing the loading dock area of the Coca‑Cola Roxy venue and acting as the high‑security threshold between the public area and the restricted backstage. Duties include regulating access, verifying credentials, monitoring supply drops, screening for prohibited items, and preventing unauthorized entry. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to maintain security and safety. Keep daily activity records and authorized persons entering and exiting the area. Verify non‑credential guests. Strategically organize and place authorized trucks, buses, and other vehicles in the dock. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Patrol premises to detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and gates. Authenticate and ensure only authorized vehicles are in secure areas. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and uphold security protocol with all crew and guests. Assist with any other duties assigned by managers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred. Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices and enforcement procedures. Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; independent judgment within policy and procedures. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy. Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs. Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50lbs+ and occasional sitting. Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8–10 hours without electronic distractions; occasional late hours possible.
