At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on! **THE JOB – Loading Dock Security**We are seeking a Loading Dock Security member who will be responsible for Loading Dock security at the Coca-Cola Roxy who will act as the vital, high-security threshold between the public area and the restricted backstage. Personnel strictly regulate access, verify tour and venue credentials, monitor supply drops, and conduct screening to prevent unauthorized entry.**WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO*** Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to maintain security and safety of the premises.* Keep records / reports of daily activities and authorized persons entering and exiting the area.* Verification of non-credential guests* Strategically organize and place authorized trucks, buses, and other vehicles in the dock.* Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.* Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and gates to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.* Authenticate and ensure that only authorized vehicles are in secure areas.* Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and uphold Live Nation back of house security protocol with all crew and guests.* Plus any other duties managers assign**WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING*** High school diploma or equivalent experience required* Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.* Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.* Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills* Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy* A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs* Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting* Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8-10 hours, without the use of electronic devices or other distractions, with possibility of late hours**EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY**We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
