Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,208–$2,388 per week Start date: 08/31/2026 Shift: 3×12-hour days Duration: Weeks Location: Potsdam, NY (hospital MRI department) Pre-start onboarding modules (billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours; confirm billing specifics) Floating to support Radiology as needed Responsibilities Perform MRI exams across a broad scope: Brain, Spine (cervical/thoracic/lumbar), Abdomen, MRCP, MRA/MRV (head, neck, abdomen, thorax), Pelvis, Breast, Extremities, Orbits, TMJ Prepare and administer contrast media; operate BRACCO power injector; assess and manage contraindications; maintain patient safety Establish peripheral IV access; maintain sterile technique and patient comfort throughout procedures Optimize imaging parameters (T1/T2, diffusion, gradient echo, spin echo), use surface coils, and apply post-processing as needed (MIP, MPR) Document exams in the charting system (EPIC) and ensure accurate, compliant records Collaborate with radiology teammates, nursing, interpretation services, and support staff to deliver timely, quality imaging Requirements NY license required in-hand for submittal; active NY license BLS certification EPIC experience is required MRI experience with the Siemens Espree 1.5T large bore system; familiarity with contrast administration and BRACCO injector Minimum MRI-related experience: to be confirmed with the hiring manager (conflicting postings list 1–2 years) Ability to work in a hospital MRI setting and to float to support unit needs; patient population includes Adolescents through Geriatrics COVID-19 vaccine not required RTO: cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of planned time off Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours; billing specifics to confirm) Benefits and Support Dedicated travel support and recruiter contact throughout the assignment Pre-start onboarding modules to complete prior to start Ongoing clinical and operational support throughout the assignment Clear path for credentialing guidance and timely submission Access to resources for assignment logistics and scheduling About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
