Back End Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Back End Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API integration with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB and be proficient in managing database schema changes using Liquibase.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in API development using Python and AWS Lambda.
- Experience with databases such as Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of Liquibase for database schema changes.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, testing, and deployment.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PySpark.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda.
- Integrate APIs with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Create and manage database schema changes using Liquibase.
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, and logging for APIs and database operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
