Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This onsite position offers the chance to support and empower learners in an engaging, diverse educational setting located near Kent, WA. You will be instrumental in helping students enhance their communication skills and reach their fullest potential throughout the academic year, from August 26, 2026, to June 16, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Washington SLP Licensure/Certification required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory
• Previous experience working within a school-based environment, particularly with K-12 students
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 45 students, tailoring services to a varied population
• Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI prior to start date
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students onsite, addressing a wide range of communication needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Conduct speech and language assessments and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to optimize student outcomes
• Attend IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, and provide recommendations for educational planning

• Contracted, onsite position
• 37.5 hours per week
• Serve a diverse caseload of K-12 students
