• Responsibilities include: providing intensive respiratory care, operating ventilatory equipment (both invasive and non-invasive), administering medications via nebulizers, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, conducting oximetry and capnography monitoring, reviewing chest x-rays, performing 12-Lead EKGs, and assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement.
• Additional duties: Tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, laboratory testing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines, insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, operating ventilatory equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Will assist in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, communicate clinical information during shift handoffs, and support quality patient care through proper charting and reporting.
