Middle School Math & Science Teacher

Job Summary Holy Spirit Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith‑filled educator to serve as a Middle School Math and Science as well as Homeroom teacher. The teacher will foster academic excellence, critical thinking, and a love of learning while supporting the spiritual, social, and emotional development of students within a Catholic school environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the homeroom teacher for a 6th grade class, building a positive, structured, and supportive classroom community. Provide engaging, standards‑based instruction in Math and Science. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote problem‑solving, inquiry, and hands‑on learning. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students. Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents and administration. Integrate technology and real‑world applications into instruction. Collaborate with middle school team members and staff to ensure curriculum alignment and student success. Maintain classroom discipline consistent with school policies and expectations. Support and participate in school Masses, prayer, and Catholic identity initiatives. Foster responsibility, organization, and independence in middle school students. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. Valid teaching certification (middle school or subject‑area certification preferred). Strong background in Math and/or Science instruction. Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
