- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a community hospital setting
- Manage approximately 2.5 to 3 patients per hour in a primarily rural environment
- Work collaboratively with limited onsite specialty support and handle diverse cases, including pediatric patients
- Document patient encounters efficiently using Epic EMR
- Maintain high standards of patient care in a critical access hospital
- Support hospital staff during night shifts, ensuring quality treatment and safety
Required:
- MD or DO with Massachusetts medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (no internal medicine or family practice)
- ACLS certification
- DEA registration in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year emergency medicine experience
- Experience working in rural or critical access hospitals
- Comfort with pediatric patient care and high patient volumes
