MRI Technologist - Twin Cities Orthopedics

The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients. This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) position, working every other Saturday and Sunday out of our Plymouth and Brooklyn Park locations. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: * Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury * Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices

• Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
• Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
• May include IV contrast administration as needed
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
• ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1

year of full time experience in an MRI department required. Benefits & Compensation: 

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated

for employees working less than a full-time schedule. * A $4,000 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. • Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs

weighing up to 300 pounds.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone,
