MRI Technologist - Up to $13,500 Sign-On Bonus

MRI Technologist

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our Southdale Medical Building in Edina, MN! This is a.9 FTE (72 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following schedule:

Week 1:

Monday/Tuesday 8:30AM - 8:30PM

Wednesday 12PM - 8:30PM

Week 2:

Monday/Tuesday 12PM - 8:30PM

Thursday/Friday 8:30AM - 8:30PM

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs excellent patient care
• Performs examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Verify patient identification and documentation
• Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
• Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year Relevant experience
• Advanced Certification in MRI
