As a Security Officer Full Time Screener - Overnight in Spartanburg, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support access screening, monitor entry points, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and vehicles entering the technology-focused location in accordance with established procedures; verify credentials and direct visitors to appropriate check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and surrounding areas for unauthorized access, prohibited items, or unusual activity, helping to deter potential concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, loading zones, common areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
