Job Description

As a Security Officer - Property Access in Spartanburg, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors at a telecommunications and media-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, equipment areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
