Media Assistant

This position plays a vital role in supporting Five Star Life growth, impact, and success through effective media and communications efforts. This includes work with Five Star Life content creation, social media management, brand management, photography, videography, and editing. Elkhart, IN Full Time Entry Level Key Responsibilities: Content and Editing Capture stories and moments in Five Star Life programming with photography and videography Gather written, spoken, and media testimonials of Five Star Life impact Edit photos and videos Create media graphics, fliers, and designs Maintain brand integrity in all aspects of work Social Media Manage Five Star Life instagram, facebook, linkedin, and more Manage LinkedIn Accounts for Five Star Life executive leadership team as requested Utilize social media and other accounts for targeted advertising to promote programs, recruit staff, and communicate volunteer opportunities Interact with and engage with program partners on social media Provide day-to-day updates and real-time highlights of programming on social media accounts Grow the Five Star Life social media presence, following, and engagement Organizational Support and Other as Determined by The Business Office Participate in team meetings, staff workdays, service projects, and fundraising event support Assist with the Five Star Life app Complete additional administrative, program support, cleaning, simple landscaping care, etc. tasks to support program readiness as assigned Qualifications and Skills: Experience with photography, videography, graphic design, editing, content creation, and social media management Complete all Five Star Life Training Knowledge of organizations mission, values, policies, procedures, and programming Adept at task management and comfortable with shifts and changes in direction Effective communication via text, email, face-to-face, and in team/group settings Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, work on ladders, and lift 50lbs Reliable transportation between properties - which include the Five Star Life Office (Elkhart, IN), Summit Commercial Areas (Union, MI) Heartfelt desire to encourage students to live their best life - the Five Star Life #J-18808-Ljbffr Five Star Life
