Container Garden Technician

We're looking for another team member for our Container Design Team. We install seasonal designs and container gardens at residential and commercial locations around the Richmond area. This is a seasonal, year-round position. Working for 5-6 week stretches during March, May, Sept, Nov with heavier hours during the summer, and more flexible hours in the winter/spring. During this time hours will be Monday - Friday 8:30-4:00. You will be working with another Container Team Designer and report to our Midlothian Nursery location. Key Responsibilities: * Install and maintain exterior plants and container gardens around the Richmond area * * Water, fertilize, and care for container plants to ensure they thrive throughout the year * Perform regular plant maintenance, including deadheading, pruning, and replacing plants as needed * Transport plants, containers, and equipment to various locations * * Lift and carry containers, hoses, and other equipment (up to 50 lbs) * Climb ladders to place or adjust plants and containers in various locations * Assist with additional landscape tasks as required Requirements: * Clean driving record and reliable transportation are a must * * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as hauling heavy hoses and climbing ladders * Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions * Strong attention to detail and ability to care for plants in all stages of growth * Flexibility to adjust hours based on seasonal demand (more hours during summer, reduced hours in winter) * Prior experience with plant care or landscaping is a plus, but not required Benefits: * Work outdoors with beautiful plants and changing daily scenery * Flexible schedule, perfect for those seeking part-time work with some freedom * Active, hands-on work that keeps you moving throughout the day * Great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and staying active
