Grease Monkey® Hood TechnicianDuring the full service oil change, the hood technician is responsible for performing all of the services in the engine compartment. The hood technician is also responsible for directing the activities in the bay area, ensuring that the service has been thoroughly completed and recorded on the Work Order.Benefits include discounted services for employees, flexible hours, opportunities for advancement, and benefits that include paid vacation, health, dental, and Aflac insurances.Essential duties and responsibilities include working safely, using the Echo System, directing the vehicle into the bay, performing light checks and fluid checks, removing and checking emissions components, performing visual inspections, performing additional services as needed, recording information on the Work Order, and general center maintenance and cleaning duties.Job qualifications include customer service skills, basic literacy, verbal communication skills, ability and license to operate motor vehicles, ability to properly use mechanical hand tools, attention to detail, and previous experience or training as a hood technician.Working conditions include frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes, and require good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.Compensation: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour.Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the Grease Monkey® brand currently operates more than 300 centers internationally with operations in Mexico, China, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia.
