Duties/Responsibilities:
Greet every customer with a smile and top-tier service.
Lead and develop store staff through hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.
Monitor store financials, sales, and cash/inventory handling.
Oversee product ordering, delivery reconciliation, and inventory levels.
Drive sales through effective foodservice and merchandising management.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (alcohol, tobacco, lottery, etc.).
Participate in leadership meetings and hold effective team huddles.
Uphold Jacksons standards, policies, and procedures.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Our stores require open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).
2+ years of management or supervisory experience (retail or foodservice preferred).
A Food Handlers Permit as required by county, city, or state.
A proven history of exceptional customer service.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Basic computer and POS system proficiency.
Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Legal age to stock and sell regulated products.
Strong attention to detail and a history of being self-motivated.
A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a team environment.
This is a transitional position. Store Managers in Training are expected to move into a leadership role within the company after completing the training program.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
