Maintenance Technician II

Position Overview Under general direction, performs operational needs at the facility, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and groundskeeping duties within and around the hospital. May have contact with all ages (pediatrics, adult, and geriatric patients/residents). Key Information Primary Department/Division/Unit: Facilities Maintenance, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $21.80 - $32.60 per hour, depending on experience Education & Experience Minimum: High School diploma or GED. 2 – 4 years of experience in operational level maintenance and engineering, and/or demonstrated experience as a Tech 1 or equivalent. Preferred: Graduation from a trade school. Preferred: 4 years of operational level maintenance and engineering with 2 years hospital experience. License & Certification Minimum: Valid driver’s license in good standing. Preferred: None.
