Opportunity Overview Summit Educational Group, a Guidewell Education brand, is immediately hiring caring, expert, part‑time In‑Person Tutors for SAT and ACT test preparation in the Greater Hartford, CT Area. What You'll Be Doing: Responsibilities Deliver one‑on‑one, in‑person tutoring for SAT/ACT prep and/or high school academic subjects—openness to teach at one area school per semester, where available. Travel reliably to students’ homes within a 30‑45 minute radius of your location (primarily between Westwood and Hingham). Tailor lesson plans based on students' individual goals, learning styles, and mock test results. Maintain open, clear communication with students, families, and the Summit team. Timely completion of session reports and scheduling updates. Participate in required paid training and professional development. Why Choose Summit? Availability: Willingness to tutor during after‑school hours and weekends. Transportation: Reliable transportation for consistent in‑person sessions. Preferred Experience & Skills We strongly encourage applicants with: Classroom Teaching Experience - Tutors in the Hartford Area will need to teach classes during the fall and/or spring semesters. Professional Backgrounds with strong analytical and communication skills (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Engineering).
