Staff AccountantWe are partnering with an established, privately held company seeking a strong Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a hands-on role supporting a multi-division organization with approximately 90 employees and $40 million in annual revenue.The company operates across four distinct business divisions, creating an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, understands operational accounting, and can help bring greater organization and efficiency to the financial reporting process. What You’ll Do Support the Controller with day-to-day accounting activities and financial reportingAssist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements Help consolidate financial information across four separate business divisionsPrepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activity Assist with balance sheet reporting and account analysisSupport inventory accounting, reconciliations, and related reportingIdentify discrepancies and help resolve accounting issues Help improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reportingWork closely with leadership and other departments to gather and analyze financial informationAssist with accounting process improvements and cleanup projects Support the company's transition from its current Ponderosa ERP system to SpruceUtilize technology and accounting systems to improve efficiency and reporting What We’re Looking For Strong accounting foundation with hands-on general ledger experience Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation Experience working with inventory is highly preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with multiple divisions, entities, or business units Strong Excel and overall technology skills Ability to learn new accounting and ERP systems quickly Manufacturing, distribution, construction, or other inventory-based industry experience is highly desirable Someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment Schedule: Monday–Friday, onsite Employment Type: Direct Hire #DHIR26 #J-18808-Ljbffr
