Hospitalist

An established healthcare organization is seeking a Hospitalist in Kings County, New York. This role provides inpatient medical care, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports patient management across hospital floor teams, emergency department coverage, and related rounding responsibilities.

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Wednesday to Tuesday (even other week or one week in 4)
• Hours: 8am to 7pm
• Setting: Inpatient hospital

• Provide hospitalist coverage for inpatient and emergency department patient care
• Manage floor teams with resident support and oversee patient volumes as assigned
• Round on patients in the morning and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, and care teams to coordinate treatment plans
• Document patient assessments, progress, and care decisions accurately and in a timely manner

• Board-certified or board-eligible physician in Internal Medicine or a related specialty
• Experience providing Hospitalist or Inpatient Medicine Care
• Ability to work a seven-day coverage block on the assigned schedule
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills in a hospital-based setting
