System Administrator

Salary: $111,000 - 151,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of systems administration experience.
• We require ITIL v4 or an equivalent certification, with up to six months after hire allowed to obtain it.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, is strongly preferred; on-premises technologies such as Active Directory, SCCM, and Group Policy may also be considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune is preferred.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Experience in revenue cycle management is preferred.
• Experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Server 2016 or newer, along with current IT equipment and technologies, is required.
• Linux or Mac experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery processes, performance monitoring tools, virtualization, traffic, content delivery, and caching is preferred.
• Experience with PowerShell, or knowledge of programming or scripting languages and concepts, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and both cloud and physical security technologies is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Network+, or Security+ are preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Some light travel may be required.

• We support daily operations, resolve technical issues, and implement new technologies to improve system performance and dependability.
• We protect critical systems and assets, build solutions, deploy new software and hardware, provide training, and contribute to our IT operations strategy.

• We maintain core enterprise systems, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, and mobile and desktop devices using Azure and Intune.
• We perform routine system monitoring, including log review and analysis.
• We create, terminate, and troubleshoot Entra AD accounts, and we create and manage AD groups, O365 distribution lists, and email accounts.
• We maintain internal networking components such as routers, switches, firewalls, internet and intranet connectivity, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
• We monitor network performance and make changes to improve speed and reliability.
• We own projects and develop enterprise solutions that support broader business initiatives.
• We handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that support commercial advantage.
• We help streamline business processes and develop analytics that deliver meaningful insights.
• We coordinate with internal and external partners to share project status, activities, and results.
• We assist other teams with troubleshooting, identify root causes of IT issues, and provide technical support when needed.
• We mentor less experienced team members.
• We ensure backups and recovery procedures are implemented and regularly tested.
• We implement and manage security controls to protect data, software, and hardware, while monitoring security alerts and responding promptly to incidents.
• We plan and carry out system upgrades, patches, and new hardware and software installations.
• We evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance.
• We maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• We produce regular reports on system performance, security, and usage metrics.
• We work closely with IT colleagues, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth system integration and functionality.
• We communicate clearly with non-technical staff and management to explain complex technical matters.
