We are currently looking for a Master Machine Operator to join our team in the wood plant in Holland, MI on 2nd shift. 2nd shift schedule is from 3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday. OT schedule is on Fridays from 3:00pm-11:00pm. No Saturdays or Sundays (unless you volunteer)! As a Machine Operator, you will operate assigned production machinery in accordance with company standards to complete customer orders.

Required qualifications include the ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance, current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship, 8th grade education or higher, the ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs without assistance, 2 years of prior manufacturing experience, ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification, ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands.

Preferred qualifications include prior machine operation experience, ability to read and interpret blueprints, ability to troubleshoot machines, ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as gauges and tape measures, computer experience, including keyboard/mouse skills.

Essential functions include accessing electronic production system to determine daily schedule, verifying parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging, monitoring material flow and updating electronic production system accordingly, selecting the appropriate machine settings or program according to specifications, setting up and operating machine, making minor machine adjustments, making simple repairs, performing change-overs, investigating & documenting production nonconformance issues, operating a powered industrial truck and/or overhead lift system, rotating through department work centers based on business need, working overtime as needed, and performing additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
