Number of Beds: 30

Number of Staff: 59 (total head count)

Type of staff:

• Day Shift – 1 Charge, 3-4 techs, restorative tech, 5-6 nurses
• Night Shift – 1 Charge, 3-4 techs, 5-6 nurses

Patient Ratios – 5/6

Type of equipment – Transfer Sliding boards, Hoyer, C-collars, Post-op shoes, JP drains

EMR – Meditech, Airstrip

Typical Hiring Profile

Skill Set Most Recruited For:

Must have:

• NIH certificate of completion/Neuro assessments
• BLS, Chest tube management

Preferred or Nice to Have:

• Chemo certification
• ACLS, EKG interpretation

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):

• Wound care/vac, post-op total knees/hips
• Central line/Foley and drain management
• Chemo administration only for certified chemo nurses (must provide proof)

Unit Standards of Care attached, must be read and signed prior to starting contract

Weekends and On call (if any):

4 weekend 12-hr shift requirements per schedule (days: Saturday/Sunday nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Weekend call ins must be made up. Must communicate with unit leaders weekend commitments
