Accounting Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a senior accounting leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, audits, and process improvement. This role partners with executive leadership to support strategic financial planning, ensure accurate financial management, and provide insight into organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and assist with financial close processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Coordinate audit preparation and provide required documentation.
• Monitor grant compliance, tax filings, and other financial obligations.
• Review financial processes and implement improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare reports for executive leadership and governing boards.
• Support cross-functional projects and mentor assigned staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of accounting or finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and payroll administration.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
