Location Bahia Resort Hotel – 314‑room resort located on a fourteen‑acre peninsula in Mission Bay, San Diego, CA. Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor (“Supervisor/a de Housekeeping”) develops and supervises the housekeeping staff to ensure the highest level of professionalism and gracious service is offered to our guests. They train and coach housekeeping personnel in adhering to the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and quality. Pay & Perks Compensation: $24.65 per hour Earn $1000 for Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and $350 for all other roles for each hired referral at any Evans Hotels property Discounted hotel rooms for you, family and friends Free employee parking and/or discounted MTS Pronto card Free meals & refreshments during working shifts Career advancement opportunities Health (including SIMNSA), dental, vision, 401k with match, life insurance, sick and vacation time Discounts on cell phone bills, shoes, gym memberships, and more Essential Duties Project professionalism and courtesy to guests and associates Serve as a role model for employees while fostering teamwork, high employee morale, motivation and open communication Coach and direct employees to achieve the standard of cleanliness required in guestrooms Perform regular inspections of guestrooms and public areas to provide a consistent product of high quality and assist employees to improve their work Monitor that employees are adhering to scheduled tasks and completing assignments Prepare pre‑assigned rooms in accordance with pre‑determined expectations Assign and supervise Houseperson duties Maintain all housekeeping storerooms Support the Assistant Director of Housekeeping in managing the housekeeping incentive program Ensure a safe working environment by training and following set safety standards Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team Qualifications 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role Prior experience in an upscale hotel or similar business is preferred Experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, problem‑solving, day‑to‑day operations, hospitality & customer service skills is a plus Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; Creole and/or French a plus Ability to conduct room inspections and provide coaching feedback Ability to maintain a friendly, team‑oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods, up to and including the entire shift, and lift up to 50 lbs The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq. **The pay scale posted is the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position during the first year of employment.
