Position Details

• Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric populations utilizing recognized assessment tools and your observational skills.
• Create customized treatment plans targeting both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on language, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges.
• Collaboratively partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care plans.
• Educate patients and families to enhance progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.
• Keep precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing learning and peer collaboration to stay current with advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications Needed

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days after hiring.
